Common Questions

Where is my order?
Your shipment confirmation email will have a Tracking Link included so you can easily track your package. You can also check on your order status 24 hours a day by going to Check Order Status. Here you can login with your order # and email Address to check order status, view tracking information (if order has shipped), and print copies of your receipt.
Do you ship outside the US?
At this time, we do not ship to addresses outside the United States.
Do you ship to APO/FPO military mail addresses?
Yes, we do ship to these addresses when you select Standard Shipping with your order. Orders with APO/FPO shipping addresses will ship via USPS.
Is my item(s) IN-STOCK and ready to ship?
We stock 99% of our items and our websites are backed by a "real time" inventory system so viewing the availability of an item is easy. Visit the item page and view the inventory status and shipping methods available for the selected item. If the item is out of stock, a "NOTIFY ME" button will appear so you can add your email address to be notified via email when the item is back In-Stock.
The school I want is not listed on the College House Divided Flag page. Can it be added?
If your requested school is not listed on the Build your Own page, it is because the school has not given us approval to be added and therefore not available. We continually add new schools and our goal is to add as many schools as possible so check back often to see if your school has been added to the Build your Own House Divided Flag program.

In addition, Pro league teams including NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, and more are not available in the Build your Own program. See Sports Flags and Pennants Co. for all your Pro Team and Sports Flags needs.
How long should my flag or banner last? What is the life expectancy of your flags?
This is the most frequently asked question in the flag industry and unfortunately, there is no exact answer. This is due to many factors including weather conditions, air pollutants, shade or full sun flying, customer care, and flag type, material, and logo imprint method purchased. We offer many flag construction grades (good, better, best), however, regardless of how well it is constructed, a flag is not indestructable and no two flags will wear the same. With that said, we have provided a few suggestions to extend the life of any flag:

Do not fly a wet flag. If possible, take it down before the storm. Wind whipping a heavy wet flag puts excessive strain on the fabric, stitching, grommets, or sleeve. If your flag becomes wet, spread it out on a flat surface and allow it to dry completely before attaching to your flagpole.

Do not fly where the flag will touch other surfaces including roofs, shingles, soffits, eaves, gutters, downspouts, branches, antennas, and cables.

Do not fly in rain, snow, or excessive winds. If possible, take your flag down before the storm arrives.

From time to time, gently hand wash your flag to remove air pollutants and spread it out on a flat surface until it dries completely before flying again.

We recommend our 6' Spinning Flagpole so your flag is extended past any roof overhangs and can fly freely.
Do you offer wholesale prices?
No, we do not offer a wholesale program at this time.
Where can I get a coupon code?

Can you make a custom flag?
We do not manufacture custom flags, banners or pennants at this time.

Why should I buy from College Flags and Banners Company?

We've added many quality levels of our flags (good, better, best) which includes different construction qualities including 1-ply and 2-ply nylon or polyester and screen printed, embroidered, or appliqued logos and insignias.

In addition, all items are manufactured by authorized license holders of the selected team, school, league, institution or organization. This ensures authentic insignias, logos, genuine colors, designs, and premium product quality.

Lastly, we stock 99% of our items in our store and offer same day shipping if your order is placed before 2:00pm CST (M-F, excluding Holidays)

Order Questions

How do I check Order Status?

Will I be charged sales tax?
Only orders with shipping addresses located in the State of Illinois will be subject to 7.0% sales tax.
Do you accept a Purchase Order (PO)?
Yes, Purchase Orders greater than $100 are accepted from educational and corporate sources. Please email to info@sportsflagsandproducts.com. If you require a vendor form signature, sole source affidavit, or W-9 form to be executed, please email requests to info@sportsflagsandproducts.com for processing.
Can I include a gift message?
Yes, gift messages up to 50 characters are included on your order packaging slip. You will need to enter your gift message during the shopping cart checkout process.
What if I don't want an invoice included?
We do not include invoices or receipts within your order packaging which include pricing. Your invoice/receipt is the email confirmation you receive upon order placement and order shipment.  Either email confirmation will act as your receipt.
Can I order by fax or mail?
Yes, you may order by mail by printing our Mail Order Form and sending a money order or personal check for the order total.

Please note, on-line ordering is the fastest method of receiving your order and viewing "real time" inventory status of your item(s).
Can I order on the phone with my credit card?
We are sorry but we do not take credit card orders over the phone.
What is your return/exchange policy?
Our Return Policy is simple! You may return an item within 90 days of delivery.

However, our Return Policy does have exceptions. If the item(s) returned have been used, show wear or are not eligible for resale, the item(s) will be shipped back to the address of record and a refund will not be processed. Other item(s) which are not eligible for Return are Event Merchandise (ie: Super Bowl, World Series, etc.), Dated Merchandise (ie: 2015 Champions, 5-Time Champs), Custom Orders (ie: House Divided, Oversized, and Personalized), Media Orders, and Event Planning Orders.

Shipping Questions

How much is Shipping?
We offer four (4) shipping methods; Standard Shipping, UPS Next Day Air Saver, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS 3 Day Select.

Standard Shipping is either USPS or UPS and averages 1-4 days depending on your shipping address. Our warehouse store is located outside Chicago, IL so if your shipping address is close to Illinois you will receive your order quickly.  Standard Shipping Rates are as follows:

$5.50 for order totals between $0.00 and $60.00
$7.35 for order totals between $60.00 and $100.00
$9.45 for order totals between $100.00 and $150.00
$11.95 for order totals over $150.00

UPS Next Day Air Saver, UPS 2nd Day, and UPS 3 Day Select are based on your shipping state and the weight of your order. Once an item is placed in your shopping cart you will be able to calculate the cost by entering your "ship to state" and choosing either UPS Next Day Air Saver, 2nd Day, or 3 Day.
Can I get my flag tomorrow?
Yes, place your order before 2:00pm CST and select UPS Next Day Air Saver.  Your order will ship the same day and be received by you before 3:00pm (commercial addresses) or 6:00pm (residential addresses).  Please note, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays are excluded for delivery and same day shipping.
Is Express Shipping Available?
Yes, UPS Next Day Air Saver, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS 3 Day Select is available. You may choose either of these options during your shopping cart checkout process. Same day shipping is available if orders are placed before 2:00pm CST for most items. Please see the product page for available shipping options.
How fast can you ship my item(s)?
If your order is placed before 2:00pm CST, your order will ship the same business day (M-F, excluding Holidays). If placed after 2:00pm CST, your order will ship the next business day (Sat., Sun., Holidays excluded) via the shipping method selected with order.

Example - order placed Tuesday at 1:10pm CST, ships on Tuesday (same business day) via method selected.
Example - order placed Thursday at 8:45pm CST, ships on Friday (next business day) via method selected.
Example - order placed Friday at 3:35pm CST, ships on Monday (next business day) via method selected.

99.5% of our items are stocked and shipped from our facilities in Grayslake, Ilinois. Grayslake is located roughly 45 miles north of the Chicago. IL and 50 miles south of Milwaukee, WI.
